The Evolution of "Time"
"Time" is an epic song written by Kevin Tarzanin that has undergone continued evolution and refinement. Kevin first performed the song with his earlier bands, "Diatribe" and then "Fat Daddy Has Been" (since retired). It was enhanced and redone after the Bullbuckers were formed and somehow made into a trumpet solo feature.
The definitive version was recorded for the Bullbuckers' debut CD, "When Push Comes To Shove" (2011). After the album release, "Time" was entered into the 2012 John Lennon Songwriting Contest where it was honored as a finalist in the "World Music" category.
What follows are chronologically ordered random live "Time" performances, along with the studio version.
These first tracks are random recordings from the early Bullbuckers as I was trying out solo ideas-
●Theater of the Living Arts, Philadelphia, December 2009 (audio, a fairly lame effort and recording):
●Logan House, Wilmington, DE, February 2010 (audio, a fun night with a bit of inspired creativity):
●Dogfish Head, Rehoboth Beach, DE, NYE 2010 (video, the beer was flowing- I have no other excuse):
●Rams Head Live, Baltimore, MD, January 2011 (video, the day after NYE and was in recovery mode):
This is the definitive studio version recorded at Milk Boy Studios, March 2011-
And these are a couple of post CD release performances-
●Dogfish Head, Rehoboth Beach, DE, February 2012 (video, the last song of the night, whew!):
